1. Convener Reports

1)WG2−Part Library

−Discussed comments from CD ballot.

−Resolution was: Part instances under development should be able to be used to any

STE P applications.

−Two joints meetings were held with parametrics and WG10

2)WG3 − Product Modelling

−Discussion needed before voting on some resolutions in Toronto

−A white paper on the resolutions is available on request

−General projects and Mechanical projects, built environment projects

−Quality committee possibility of helping with interpretation etc.

−Word Perfect 6.1 and MS Word 6.0 (for Windows) are included as standard formats for documents

−Toronto WG3 meeting planned as usual on Monday FN(Fore Noon) and AN(After Noon), and Thursday AN

3)WG 6−Conformance Testing

−Part 32 passed on to SC4 for forwarding to ISO as IS version

−Part 34 Second CD version released

−ATS Guidelines. All except one issue resolved

−Part 33 and 34, 35 transferred to WG1l

−ATS development and Guidance passed to QC

4)WG8 − Manufacturing Management Data

−WG8 convener changed to Jean−Jacques Michel

−P1 and P2 projects met during the week. 7 countries participated. There is a new interest in AEC

−Liaison with TC154, BSR project, TC29 (cutting tools), P2 project leader
